Southampton Stags raise over £450 for Lisa’s charity
The Southampton Stags beat Oxford 33-6 in game which was decided mostly in the 2nd half. However the game was started off by ex-Saint and director of football at Eastleigh FC, Mark Dennis, who tossed the coin for the game. With the Stags being a success on the field, the team went on to again show its heart off it. In raffling off prizes that included hospitality for one for Saints vs Newcastle at ST Marys the team managed to raise £340 on the day. That included money that was donated from the door takings at the Academy Nightclub Superbowl party. This was added to the £110 taken from match fees at the flag American football tournament before Christmas. Overall Southampton American football has raised £450 for charity this year with a bit more to come just watch this space!
