Lisathedaddy wins in style

Monday 19th February saw Lisathedaddy return to the race course after an 80 day lay off. Returning to Lingfield on her favoured all weather surface she had moved up to the 76 mark to compete in her most competitive race to date. Once again jockey Richard Kingscote took the reins for what was to be a highly competitive and exciting race run over 1m 2f. Having started well she drifted back but Richard got her into a great position as she came round the final bend where she charged into the lead to win by a length. This really was her best race to date and the good news is that she keeps improving, no doubt the handicappers will add a little more weight next time.

Tricia and Clive were truly ecstatic with the win and her amazing record of 3 wins in twelve outings.

Forth anniversary

November 4th will be the fourth anniversary of Lisa’s tragic accident.
Tricia and Clive would just like to thank everyone, especially Scott, Ross, Kelly and Donna, and all our good friends for their support over the last four years. Without your support we could not be where we are today. Because of the charity we are proud that Lisa continues to touch people in the way she did when she was alive. She has become an inspiration to others and her memory will continue to live on forever. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the fund raising helping us to achieve the amazing sum of £100,000 to date. This ensures that Lisa’s legacy will be at least 100 years of education, a truly wonderful legacy to a truly wonderful daughter.

Lisathedaddy wins in photo finish

The race was an apprentice handicap stake and jockey Richard Kingscote had a great ride, he saw a gap on the inside and LISATHEDADDY came into the final furlong with a great burst of speed and managed to hang on at the line. With a starting price of 10-1 there were many happy friends and relatives! This was her second win and she will be running again at Lingfield on Sunday November 5th, look out for the fire works!

Then an animated dvd also produced by Ross showed how the amazing total of £100,000

had been raised to date. This amazing figure means Lisa’s Legacy will be at least 100 years of education. Charlotte Field was also in attendance with her son, Charlotte was one of the first students to receive a bursary and this year graduated with first class honours. In an emotional speech Charlotte said how the scholarship fund had made such a big difference to her life and how she would be forever grateful.
