An exciting evening took place on the 15th April at the Solent Hotel when staff from Southampton Institute carried out a Charity Auction at a staff conference on behalf of Lisa’s Charity. Some 24 lots were auctioned off by a professional auctioneer, items included Matt Le Tissier memorabilia, an Indian head massage, an overnight stay at the Solent Hotel and even a ‘slave for the day’. The evening was a resounding success and with gift aid should nett approximately £1000. Many thanks to all concerned, particularly Ben Craig for coming up with the idea.

That included money that was donated from the door takings at the Academy Nightclub Superbowl party. This was added to the £110 taken from match fees at the flag American football tournament before Christmas.
